The Berlin coffee scene is by far the largest in Germany. This is where the third-wave coffee movement has become most established. In almost every neighborhood there are a number of excellent cafés and roasteries. We visited them for you.
Our café tips for Berlin are sorted by districts, so you don’t lose the overview with the large selection! In this article you will find 3 tips per district. For all other recommendations you can simply click further.

The districts at a glance:
Specialty Coffee Café with coffees from all over Europe. Here you can enjoy coffee in the most beautiful ambience. And it’s not just the coffee, the cuisine is also impressive: the seasonally changing brunch menu is something to behold.
Cool café in the heart of Friedrichshain. Top address for all those for whom good brunch is just as important as good coffee – here you get both together! In good weather, be sure to sit outside.
Cozy corner cafe with JB coffee, homemade cakes and brunch every day. Here’s good vibes and smart staff to the Specialty Coffee on top.
No Fire No Glory
Specialty coffee and brunch since 2009. Whether it’s drip brew from the Danish „Coffee Collective,“ espresso or flat white, coffee enthusiasts will be happy at No Fire No Glory.
Coffee Circle Café
You can now have our Coffee Circle roasts prepared for you on site by our baristas in a variety of ways. Whether for work, meeting friends or just relaxing – everyone is welcome here!
Part of the Tres Cabezas family. Lofty café on two floors with an inviting atmosphere, creative brunch and – of course – good coffee. Choose from single origin coffees and seasonal espresso blends from Tres Cabezas.
Small, charming specialty coffee café in the middle of Hackesche Höfe with an Arabian twist – from the décor to the coffee preparation. The coffee comes from Square Mile and Tim Wendelboe. Our recommendation: the Ibrik coffee!
