CREAMY ESPRESSO WITH CHOCOLATEY FLAVOR
Francisco Lopez embraces you like a warm hug. Named after its farmer, this espresso brings everything his origin stands for: low-acid intensity, a chocolatey-nutty sweetness, and a gentle spice. In flavor, imagine cocoa meeting roasted almonds, finished with a hint of cardamom, all elegantly nestled in a creamy texture. It’s a balanced washed espresso from Guatemala, one that doesn’t just carry Francisco’s name but reflects his passion, care, and craftsmanship – in every single sip.

Preparation Tips
Francisco Lopez works especially well with espresso machines, stovetop pots, or the AeroPress. If you like your coffee bold from a filter machine or French press, it’s a solid choice there, too. Fan of Flat White or Cappuccino? Francisco Lopez is delicious both with milk (or milk alternatives) and on its own.
Medium and fresh roast
We roast Francisco Lopez fresh every week in our Berlin roastery . Our experts monitor each roast closely to pinpoint the moment when sweetness and aroma fully unfold. Each coffee gets its own custom roast profile, tailored by our master roasters.

Origin
This exceptional coffee is named after Francisco Lopez, a passionate coffee farmer from the highlands of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. At 1,550 meters above sea level, his coffee cherries grow slowly under ideal conditions. That patience pays off – the late ripening adds a deep natural sweetness to the cherries.
Processing
From harvest to drying, it’s all in the details: using the floating method, only the ripe red cherries are hand-selected in a water bath. The fruit pulp is then mechanically removed from the beans, while the remaining mucilage is gently washed away through natural fermentation in water tanks. Finally, a ten-day sun drying process begins: on elevated drying beds, the beans are hand-turned regularly until they reach just the right moisture level – ready to shine in your cup.

sehr lecker
Alles super
