As Intense as a Piece of Dark Choclate

EQ. ESPRESSO 60 is an espresso for those who like it strong. In the cup, it is intense and low in acidity, with the taste of dark chocolate. Its high Robusta content ensures a pleasantly rich crema that makes every sip particularly velvety.

Tips For Preparation

As a café crème, chocolate and a pleasant sweetness dominate, which combine perfectly with the creaminess of milk (or milk alternatives) in milk drinks. It is also a hit when prepared in an espresso machine. Do you like sugar in your coffee? Thanks to its strong roasted aromas, this coffee is suitable for all beverage preparations – just as you like it.

A Low-acid Blend full of Character with a Rich Crema

EQ. ESPRESSO 60 owes its complexity to a carefully composed blend from three countries of origin. The base is a Brazilian coffee that tastes of roasted hazelnuts and has a pleasantly low-acid profile. 40% high-quality Robusta from Uganda gives the blend strength, an intense chocolatey depth, and the rich crema that makes baristas' hearts beat faster. A proportion of Colombian coffee rounds off the flavor profile and brings a fine structure and balanced freshness to the fore, giving the espresso additional complexity.

The Brazilian portion comes from the Fazenda Rainha farm in Minas Gerais. It is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters on volcanic soil. The combination of location and microclimate provides ideal growing conditions for high-quality coffees.

EQ. ESPRESSO 60 is a true all-rounder: strong enough for a short espresso, versatile for café crème or milk drinks, and always a guarantee for intense coffee enjoyment.

The Ugandan contribution comes from the export company ACPCU, which brings together 32 cooperatives. Over 16,000 farmers from diverse, multi-ethnic communities pursue a common mission: to practice future-oriented and progressive agriculture.

The Colombian piece of the puzzle comes from the Alianza Café cooperative in Nariño. Around 1,000 members grow high-quality coffee here, spread across the entire region at altitudes between 1,900 and 2,300 meters.

Our EQ coffees have been specially optimized together with Siemens for the Siemens EQ fully automatic machines.

Perfect Kaffee

Mega gute Kaffeebohnen, grad mal zwei Wochen alt. Keinerlei magenprobleme mehr, wesentlich besser als Supermarktbohnen. Jeden Euro wert.
