A good matcha starts not only with fine powder, but also with the right tool. The matcha whisk from Matchasome is traditionally made from 100 delicate bamboo struts – sturdy enough for creamy foam, delicate enough for the typical lightness of matcha. Two green threads and a little smiley logo make it the happiest way to prepare matcha.
Preparation and care
With this whisk, you can make the perfect matcha latte or pure matcha at home without any lumps. Simply sift the powder beforehand, add hot water, and whisk quickly in a zigzag motion until frothy – preferably directly in the matching matcha bowl.
To ensure your whisk lasts a long time: soak it briefly in warm water before each use and rinse it with warm water after use.
