The grinder – the heart of the Comandante
The MK4 grinder is made entirely of stainless steel, which is manufactured using a patented process. The result: an extremely durable material in knife steel quality. The edges of the grinding discs are sharpened again after hardening and literally “cut” the coffee beans. The grinder achieves an extremely precise and homogeneous grinding result with virtually no “fines” (coffee dust) across all grind sizes. The grind size can be easily adjusted using a small wheel on the underside. Power transmission during grinding is optimized thanks to the double ball bearing. Grinding coffee by hand has never felt better or easier.

Eine so tolle Kaffeemühle. Leicht zum Mahlen, schönes Design. Benutze sie täglich zum Mahlen meines Kaffees für 2-3 Tassen ( Slow Coffee Style). Diese Mühle ist ist zwar sehr teuer, aber die Anschaffung lohnt sich!

Kaffee mahlen geht schnell mit angenehmen Geräusch. Maschine ist handlich. Beim mahlen lädt sich der Kaffee elektrostatisch auf. Kaffee klebt an Mahlwerk und Behälter. Abhilfe schafft; die Bohnen leicht anfeuchten. Es reichen dazu zwei Tropfen Wasser. Es entsteht kaum "Feinstaub." Schwierig ist es den richtigen Mahlgrad zu finden. Die Mahlgradeinstellung hat keine Skala. Man muss sich die einzelnen Klicks aufschreiben. Kaffee schmeckt.
