The brewing principle – more than just hot water

Within just 30 seconds, the powerful Moccamaster reaches the ideal brewing temperature of 96 °C. Thanks to the copper heating coil, the water is distributed evenly and consistently over the coffee powder. Nine spray openings ensure that the water penetrates the coffee optimally and all flavors are extracted evenly. In just six minutes, six to ten cups of coffee are produced, perfectly bringing out the complexity and finest nuances of the beans.

And don't worry if you forget to turn off the machine—it switches off automatically after 40 minutes, saving energy. A special feature of the Moccamaster Select: you can choose between a half or full pot. With the half pot, the coffee is brewed more slowly, ensuring delicious coffee regardless of the number of cups.
